At Paw and Clay, we understand the importance of ensuring your personalized memorial reaches you safely and with care. This policy outlines our shipping practices and what you can expect after placing your order.

1. Processing Time

Each urn is a custom, handmade piece of art. Upon your final approval for production, please allow 10-14 business days for the crafting, kiln firing, cooling, and quality inspection process before your order is ready to ship.

2. Shipping Regions & Carriers

We ship worldwide from our studio. Our primary and trusted shipping partner for international orders is DHL Express. However, to ensure the most reliable and timely delivery based on your destination and current customs regulations, we reserve the right to use alternative qualified carriers that may provide better service at the time of dispatch.

3. Delivery Times & Tracking

  • Once shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to monitor your package.

  • Estimated transit time for international shipments is typically around 7 business days after dispatch. However, please be advised that actual delivery times are not guaranteed and can vary due to factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to) customs clearance procedures, weather events, local holidays, or carrier delays. Please rely on the latest updates provided by the carrier’s tracking system for the most accurate delivery status.

  • All delivery dates provided are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

4. Shipping Costs & Import Duties

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight, and dimensions.

  • Important: You, as the recipient, are solely responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees that may be levied by your country’s authorities upon arrival. These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices. Paw and Clay has no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount.

5. Delivery Issues & Damages

We pack every urn with the utmost care for its journey. However, if you experience any of the following issues:

  • Package is significantly delayed beyond a reasonable timeframe.

  • Package tracking shows as “Delivered” but you have not received it.

  • The parcel or the urn inside appears damaged upon delivery.
